Our food fabrics are delivered with a declaration of compliance with regulations on material and articles intended to come into contact with food, in accordance with the UE Regulation n ° 1935/2004 of 27 October 2004.
We get the certification for food contact by performing global migration analyzes with independent laboratories.
The European directives 89/686 / CEE defines the requirements in terms of safety of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) standards EN340 standard EN467 and our protective aprons are compliant with those requirements.
The different elastomers used to manufacture our aprons also undergo global migration tests by our raw material suppliers.

Food contact requirements.
Food contact compliance can be defined as the ability of a material or object to be brought into contact with food by respecting the basic principle of any MCDA regulation, namely the principle of inertia, but also complying with all the general and specific requirements applicable.
Food contact compliance is therefore not an intrinsic characteristic of a material but depends on the type of food that comes into contact with the material and the conditions of use: temperature and duration of contact in particular.
Food contact compliance of a materials is not a universal characteristic but is related to regulation of each country.
